Toshiko Ferrier
(office FERRIER)Art Takaramichi’s Director
Toshiko Ferrier is an art and architecture producer, coordinator, and advisor based in Tokyo. She studied classical and modern Western art history at Meiji Gakuin University. But her current profession is focused on contemporary art.
She established her own office, Office Ferrier, in 2002, to support individuals and companies who want to be more connected to art and architecture. Her office handles project launches and management, provides art consulting and coordination services for businesses, and assists people interested in purchasing artworks.
For Tsuneishi, her office has collaborated on the construction of company housing complexes (Seto no Mori Housing, Seto Terrace, and Seto no Ki) located along Art Takaramichi’s school routes. She is also involved in founding Tsuneishi Sukusuku House, a certified center for early childhood education and care.
She is very excited about Art Takaramichi, as it’s the first art project of its kind in this area. She would be delighted if the works in Art Takaramichi could spark people’s curiosity, making them think, “Art is fun and interesting—we’d like to see more of it and learn more about it.” -
Shinji Kajihara and Shuji Matsuba
(Tsuneishi Group)Art Takaramichi’s Project Management Team
We both work for Tsuneishi Group. We have poured our passion into Art Takaramichi—our desire to make the community where Tsuneishi is based a more attractive place, to fill it with the lively energy of children and adults so that they will feel enriched by the time they’ve spent here.
Our company values the philosophy of “walking hand in hand with the local community.”
We want to help expand your future possibilities by encouraging you to develop an interest in the unknown, such as art, by engaging with it. “Creating the value of the future, today”—this is also our company’s motto. We look forward to seeing what kind of adults the children in this community will become after experiencing Art Takaramichi.
